You may often see a business that may have a name like Flowers Unlimited or Furniture Unlimited. You know right away what they have to offer.
Christ Unlimited is not a business but rather a song ministry and we hope that people will know right away that we offer Jesus Christ , whose love and power IS unlimited. We feel that there are times when music can touch a soul in a very special way. Our goal is and always has been to see the lost come to Jesus and to encourage and uplift the believers.
Christ Unlimited has been in song ministry since 1975 and we feel that God has given us not only a calling but a privilege. We sing mostly original songs, given by God, with a lot of southern gospel influence but also with a little jazz and contemporary thrown in. We do try to make sure that all of our songs have a message that would honor our Lord in some way.
We are now a family unit, consisting of sisters Beverly Nieminen and LaDonna Rogers. Our youngest sister, Betsy Meadows, joins us when she can. Keith Rogers runs our sound system. In 2002, Keith went through several emergency surgeries and was on a ventilator for some time. The doctors told us that Keith would probably not survive but our God had other plans! Keith is no longer able to sing with us but he is still the man who makes us sound good and we are so glad to still have him with us. We serve an awesome God!
Christ Unlimited can also be heard, along with other local and regional groups, on radio station "The Light" WNPG 95.9FM on Down Home Gospel Reunion with Bruce Wells on Saturdays from 10:30 am to 11:00 am and Sundays from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm. If you can`t get this program on your radio, you can listen on your computer at www.thelight959.com or , after the program has aired, they will be archived for a week on www.downhomegospelreunion.com on the "Radio Programs" page.
We are always happy to minister anywhere that we can, whether in churches, large or small, nursing homes, community gatherings or meetings. We minister on a freewill offering basis but, whether we recieve one or not, God has always met our needs.
