Higher Praise Qt. is a traditional, male quartet based in Muhlenberg County, KY. The group was formed in April 2008 when Todd Franklin (tenor), Paul Barrett (lead) and Matt Adams (baritone) surrendered to a calling placed on their lives to sing God`s praises and see lost souls won to Christ. These original members are now joined by Mike Burden and pianist Josh Fleming. Their music is heavily influenced by the sound of groups like Gold City, the Kingsmen and the Statler Brothers. God has truly blessed this relatively young ministry. They have had the opportunity to share the stage with groups like the Kingsmen, Karen Peck & New River, the Dove Brothers and the Conquerors. In 2010, HPQ placed third (among groups from across Kentucky) at the Kentucky Farm Bureau Quartet Contest. Also in 2010, the group released their debut CD project, "A Brand New Life".
