The GBQ is a southern gospel group from Dora, Alabama. The group performs at regular 2nd and 4th Saturday night Gospel Barn Concerts. The group also takes additional bookings when possible at various churches, homecomings, benefits, and or private functions. The group has a live band consisting of keyboard, steel guitar, drums, lead guitar, and bass guitar. The vocals are three men and one woman. The group has excellent vocal and musical harmony and can perform many Kingsmen, Catherdals, Gold City, Happy Goodmans tunes as well as traditional hymn book favorites including Acappella/Bluegrass. The GBQ also has a very popular all male quartet in which the piano player gives a stella performance of "SAY A PRAYER" as done by the Kingsmen. All members of the group work jobs or are retired. The group loves spreading God`s message in song.
