In a day and age when the traditional southern gospel sound isn`t a popular idea, The New Life Quartet® keeps the tradition that generations of faithful southern gospel fans have loved and surrendered their lives to Jesus through. The New Life Quartet® was founded by Jack Dennin of Ironton, Ohio and has a history of singing southern gospel music since as far back 1970. Even though there have been some personnel changes, The New Life Quartet® has never wavered nor compromised. Their pursuit has always been spreading the Gospel in a Christlike and professional manner, and their constant dedication to seeing souls saved and lives changed. Our sound ushers in the Holy Spirit to provide a truly moving experience spreading the message of God`s love through music. Owner, MC, 2nd Tenor/Lead Singer: (Kurtis Morgan) has been involved in gospel music from the tender age of 5, traveling on the road with The Journeymen Quartet from Milton, WV and later becoming a member as a young adult. After the passing of “Big” John Bledsoe, lead singer and owner of The Journeymen, Kurtis decided to take the initiative to branch out on his own. He chose to re-establish this popular and well-known group The New Life Quartet® bringing back that hard-hitting, soul-moving, traditional sound in order to fulfill the calling on his heart to serve and minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many talented singers step onto stages across the country every week; but only the faithful and called can handle the pressures of life on the road to delight in the blessings that are received by a devoted servant. He and his wife Danielle reside in Ironton, Ohio. 1st Tenor, Booking Coordinator: (Gary Morgan) has been known for singing southern gospel music for 43 years now and still continuing to hit those quality high notes night after night singing the praises of our Lord and Savor Jesus Christ... He first started singing with The New Life Quartet® when he was 16 years old. He was the original owners paper boy and knowing that he was raised in a church going family and his mother was a choir director in his families home church that he might be a little singer, little did they know he was and he started out singing lead in 1972 and then later became the 1st tenor singer for the group and the rest is history... In his spare time from traveling and singing he enjoys spending time working with his hands being a handyman contractor owning his own business since 1979, singing and acting in musical theater drama plays, spending time with his loving wife Vickie. They live in Ironton, Ohio Baritone Singer, (Scott Trammell): has had a desire to sing gospel music from a young age. He was saved at the age of five and has been involved in his church`s music ministry since the age of 16. During his senior year of high school, he had the opportunity to fill in with Higher Ground, a mixed quartet from his hometown of Franklin, Ohio. More recently, he sang with Mission Quartet from Florence, Kentucky. In addition to holding a degree in communication from Miami University, Scott has attended the Steve Hurst School of Music, where he has received vocal training from many well-known gospel artists. Scott is excited to be a part of the ministry of The New Life Quartet® and is looking forward to seeing God move! (Eddie Couch), Bass Singer: He and his wife Ann Margaret live in Scottsburg, Indiana. He is now celebrating singing Gospel Music for 40 years and has sang with several groups throughout the years. He loves to see souls saved and burdens lifted in people`s lives while sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through song. His hobbies are restoring old cars and boating. He states, "being part of this ministry is a great honor & I am looking for God to move in the years to come"
