Members: Josh Gregory (Tenor)
Josh was born and raised in Odessa, Texas. He began singing in his early teens, making his way through junior high and high school choirs. However, after high school he vacated singing for almost 17 years. In 2008, the LORD spoke to Josh and summoned him to use his voice. In 2008, Josh became a member of Simple Heart and he feels blessed for the opportunity. Josh and his wife, Adria of 16 years, have three sons. Josh and his family are members of Crescent Park Baptist Church in Odessa, TX.
Caleb Linzy (Tenor)
Caleb was born and raised in west Texas. He has always had a heart for music. Caleb never found an interest in being a part of a group or choir until high school when he was persuaded to join a musical presentation by the youth group at his church. At the age of nineteen, he joined and traveled with Joe Whitten Prison Ministries for one season. Caleb joined Simple Heart in 2008 after an eight year break; concentrating on starting a family. Not really having an official title, he sings the parts where he is needed; even if he has to make one up. Caleb’s one and only inspiration is Jesus Christ and opportunities to bring glory and honor to Him. Growing more and more in the Lord every day, he strives to be steadfast and open to anything and everything the Lord lays before him. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Personal Savior in March of 2009 and eagerly awaits his continuing journey with Christ. Caleb is married to a wonderful wife, Alyssa, and they have three kids. They are members of Sherwood Baptist Church and currently live in Odessa Texas.
Crystal Wilson (Alto)
Crystal was born and raised in Odessa, Texas. She was fortunate enough to be a member of a church that had a great children’s music ministry which allowed her many opportunities at a very young age. She always had a passion for singing and performing. Crystal even moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a career in country music. After seven years away she and her husband moved back home to Texas. She eagerly returned to singing in church and became a member of Simple Heart in 2009. She is very thankful to be part of such a great ministry. Crystal and her husband, Sean of six years, have one daughter. Crystal and her family are members of Sherwood Baptist Church in Odessa, TX.
Tommy Inzer (Baritone)
Tommy is one of the original members of Simple Heart which was formed in 2005. Tommy was born in Lubbock, Texas, and moved to Odessa at age 13. After high school, Tommy returned to Lubbock and graduated from Texas Tech University. Tommy began singing in church choirs after college. Tommy is a Deacon at Sherwood Baptist Church in Odessa, TX, and has served as Chairman since 2008. Tommy and his wife, Angela of 23 years, have two sons.
Lyndon Kauk (Bass)
Lyndon is an original member of the Simple Heart Quartet, which was formed in 2005. He is a native Odessan. He is a graduate of Permian High School and Texas Tech University. At age 17, Lyndon entered a relationship with Jesus Christ by accepting Him as his personal Savior. Today, Lyndon serves along with his wife, Sylvia of eight years, as members of University Park Baptist Church of Odessa, TX. He is a partner in a company which markets equipment to oilfield equipment retailers. Lyndon’s purpose for singing with the Simple Heart Quartet under the flag of Simple Heart Ministries is “to present the Salvation message in song”.
