The Bynums are a couple who lived in Mount Dora, Florida for 22 years and have been involved with music and singing all their lives. They now live in beautiful Jefferson City, Tennessee and the Smoky Mountains. Lovenia grew up in eastern Kentucky on U.S. 23 (Country Music Highway) and learned to sing harmony in church and listening to her favorite gospel groups. Harmon grew up in central Alabama near Birmingham. This area was home to many gospel groups such as The Happy Goodmans and Gold City.
Harmon and Lovenia met at a church in Nashville, and were soon married. They have always been active in their local church and have sung with their families and other groups over the years. They sing different styles including Southern Gospel, Christian Bluegrass and Messianic music.
Now, we are able to travel and sing fulltime. We love to sing about the love of the Lord Jesus and what He has done for us. It gives us great joy when we see the faces of those listening and, we know that we have communicated the message of God’s word through a song.
