Anchored was scheduled to be with Short Creek Baptist in 2025 but when Music Minister Jonathan James called to confirm the date he inadvertently called the Anchored Qt, that were based out of McMinnville. As a result of them telling him Anchored was no longer singing brother James felt a need to quickly find a replacement. Now that we have straightened all this out we will now be with them for the August 9, 2026 homecoming. The church has decided to return to their old format when they had more than one group or singers. The first group will be singing during the Sunday School hour before the preaching service, followed by a delicious lunch prepared by the ladies of the church before returning back to the sanctuary for more singing by the other groups, or special singers, to round out the afternoon! That`s the way we used to do it when I was growing up and I`ve many fond memories of being with church family, in fellowship and praise of our Lord.
