March 15, 2026 for their Sunday night gospel singing. Pastor Chris Jensen and Music Director Janice Suter are two of our favorite people and this little church has been an integral part of keeping our genre of music alive. We always enjoy worshiping with this congregation and often are blessed by many of our friends coming out in support. Sister Janice is the wife of my dear friend Ricky Suter and we`ve known each other for several years. Ricky put many of my songs to music and was a great encourager of my writing. We spent many hours in his studio, talking, singing & playing, laughing, and even often sharing tears of gratitude and joy. What a friend he was and what a blessing and helpmate was to us both. We had some good times and we will again, that we have been promised. But until the day when we`ll all be reunited we`re just gonna carry on as we did he was with us, I know that`s what he`d want. So all you friends and followers in and around Portland and southern Kentucky, we`ll be looking for ya. Let`s get together again and have another good time of worship and praise, like we`ve done before.
