September of 2024 we had the pleasure of being a part of Griffins Chapel`s homecoming & old fashion day and had a great time with these fine folks. I had planned to touch base with sister Chasity Cary concerning their 2026 service when our good friend Kerry Lampley, pastor of Cedar Valley Church in Erin, sent me a text asking if we could do a service this September 14, in Erin. We were a man short for that weekend we thought but actually will be two men short and I had to decline. When I learned it was Griffins Chapel I contacted sister Cary in an effort to lock in next year`s date and avoid a last minute scramble searching for a group or someone to come. After their board meeting this week she called to ask if we could do the 2026 homecoming and we said we`d be honored to come. The service starts at 10:00am and will dismiss worship. Then after church there will be a wonderful old time pot luck meal and time of fellowship. Good singing, good preaching, fine food, and Christian socializing, what better to do, especially on a Sunday? Why not make plans to be with us?
