Redirection Quartet

The most important aspect of any southern gospel quartet is “worship” and Redirection Quartet does not fall short in that category. Originally formed as The Liberty Boys Quartet in 2003 by founding members Richard Whitehurst, Jason Sims, Phillip Marley and Brent Meready, then later joined by Clay and Ron Wilder, the group has seen its fair share of changes and transitions. Through it all one thing remains the same and that is the love that each member shares for the Lord and for southern gospel music. After taking a ten-year hiatus, group members consisting of Clay Wider, Phillip Marley, Ron Wilder and Rachel Marley have decided to take the stage once more in a group effort to win lost souls to the saving grace of Jesus Christ...to "Redirect" the focus from the ways of the world and the way we used to live to follow Jesus and the way of the cross. "Redirection" means Repentance, turning from the wrong way we are going and heading in the opposite direction, now looking toward the prize of heaven and everlasting life. "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory." Colossians 3:1-4 Their dedication to praising the Lord in song is second to none and it is evident at every music event that they attend. Redirection Quartet wants the Lord to shine through in everything they do and they want nothing more than to spread the word of Jesus Christ to those in need of salvation.
