2nd Crossing is a Southern Gospel singing ministry with a Progressive flavor of song choice. Their goal is to uplift the name of Christ and spread the gospel in song to see lost and burdened lives changed. Having traveled under another name previously, we felt God`s will for us to rename ourselves 2nd Crossing.
This name came from the thought that we will cross from life to death and then from death to life in our Glorified Heavenly bodies. John 5:24 states: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my Word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

We felt the calling to expand our variety of music to accommodate the likings of all age groups and music preferences by offering some true old fashioned southern gospel and progressive southern gospel mixed in.
