The Quinneys of Keller, Ga.

The Quinneys Quartet was organized in its present form in 2008, but its members have loved and sung gospel music together for a combined total of over 130 years. The group had its beginning over forty years ago, when Gary Quinney joined David Baker in the Dixie Travelers Quartet. Along the way, Gary was captivated by the beautiful voice of Sherry Cannady, and they‘ve been making beautiful music ever since, first in the Master‘s Quartet, and later as The Seekers. David and Gary continued to perform together in the Singing Layman Quartet until the group retired. In 2002 son Christopher and his family moved back home to Keller from Kentucky and began singing with his mother and father. In 2008 the present group was formed when David Giddens join the group as bass player and manager. All of the group are strong, Bible-believing Christians, and all are active members of Corinth Baptist Church in Keller, where Gary is pastor. The Quinneys Quartet sings a mixture of old and new gospel music; something for everyone. They sing at revivals, homecomings, Friday/Saturday night sings, family reunions; anywhere there’s an opportunity to share the good news of Christ through music.
