 The New Helmsmen (Now will be called The Helmsmen) consist of three male singers.
Mark Gibson: Group manager resides in Fulton, NY he was a former member of "The Gibsons" where Mark sang and traveled with his wife and family. Mark has also sung with the Orginal Helmsmen, as well as traveled with Les and Linda Green as the Greens Trio. Mark loves the Lord and feels God has placed him in the ministry to help change lives. Mark has three sons, a daughter in law 4 grandchildren. Dave Lyon: Resides in Endicott, NY he was a former member of Spirit wings and also sang for the original Helmsmen. Dave Loves the Lord and is active in his local church in the music department and board of trustees. Dave is married and has two adult children. And a new Grand daughter. Matt Ide: Resides in Conklin, NY formerly in a contemporary Christian group called Interstate 3:16 Matt has been gifted with the ability to write songs, several of which The New Helmsmen are currently singing. Matt is also active at his local church and is married and has two little boys. Together, the groups presents a rich tight harmonic blend of their voices that is sure to please. Their musical style ranges from lively Southern Gospel to traditional Hymns, to some light contemporary something for everyone, while exalting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
