The Crusaders of Magnolia, AR

The Crusader`s Ministries is a full time Southern Gospel Ministry singing, preaching and testifying of the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ.

The Crusaders hearts desire is to spread the Word of God through the singing and testifying as doors are open. We do not like to miss an oportunity to share Christ, because we beleive there could be someone lost in each service or someone needing encouragement from the Lord.God wants to use us, to plant a seed, harvest a seed, or plow the field. When we dont show up, as commanded then, Gods Will is not done, in our lives and we and the people miss the blessings of God.

David Talley,is one of the original founders of The Crusaders. David Talley surrendered to the ministry after attending a Cathedral concert in Magnolia, AR. David can now look drive by daily or stand on his front porch and be reminded of His Calling. David lives right across the street from the auditorium where the concert was held. David preaches,  plays the piano, sings the Baritone, drives the bus and also does much of the bookings for The Crusaders.

David has been married to Penney for 30 years. Penney helps with the promotional side of The Crusaders and also speaks at Ladies Prayer Groups. Jonathan Talley, David & Penney`s son began playing the drums and singing with The Crusaders at the age of 9. He has been surrounded with Southern Gospel Music all of his life. He begin to sing beside his dad on the piano bench at the age of 2, such songs as In the Sweet By and By and many other great favorite Southern Gospel Songs. Now, at the age of 17 Jonathan inspires young and old, as he sings lead for The Crusaders. Jonathan writes some of the songs The Crusaders perform.  He has just graduated from homeschool. and plans to stay in ministry and work for his dad.  He also is learning to play the guitar. Jonathan writes some of the songs The Crusader`s sing.

Steve Reeves sings tenor and plays the bass guitar. He is no stranger to music. He played country music for 20 plus years, before turning his life over to the Lord. God begin to convict him and opened his eyes to what He wanted Steve to do. Steve has been with The Crusaders for three years. You will enjoy his singing, his playing and his testimony and love for the Lord. Steve lives in Haynesville, La. with his wife Sallie and children.

As of March 2012, we have seen 136 people saved during the services.

2010 The Crusader`s were booked 193 services.  We  seen 147 saved.  The Crusaders  finish 2008 with 93 services and 2009 with 152. There wer 79 saved in the services in 2009. We have seen rededications and lives touched and changed. The Crusaders host one of the best conventions in the area.

The Talley`s with The Crusader`s are the founder and host of the Deep South Regional Conventions.

The first Convention was established 10 years ago, as the DSRQC. .  Plans are being made for nine Conventions in several regions in Arkansas and Alabama, TX, OK, AND MO for 2011.  To learn where conventions are

   The Crusader`s used the conventions as a way to minster to the host church, the community and groups in the region, to renew them in their call to the Lord`s work.  Concerts are held nightly for the public at these conventions.
