Masterpeace Quartet began their journey in Southern Gospel Music in Mid summer of 2001, and made their first concert appearance in September of 2001, and their goal was to present the Gospel in traditional 4 part quartet harmony. They determined that they would not compromise the traditional sound of Southern Gospel music and that they would remain true to the roots of quartet music of years gone by. The group consists of Kevin Robinson (tenor), Tracy Thrasher ( baritone ), their newest member John Martin (Lead ), and Marlin Dorsey (bass vocals). And Daryll Gann as the Pianist. Each member of the group has a rich heritage of performing Southern Gospel Music over the past several years. Masterpeace Quartet has performed at numerous churches and events in the 4 states region in addition to several concerts which they have promoted at the Oaklawn Opry in Texarkana, TX. The group is a member of the Four States Gospel Music Association. They were honored at the Four States Gospel Music Association Convention in Texarkana, TX, to receive the award for the Favorite Group for 2006, 2007, and 2008 consecutively.
