Isaiah`s Cry is a group with a goal to minister to people of all ages, and bridge the gap between several genres of Christian Music in the process. The group is comprised of Eric Baker - vocals, CharLotte Baker - vocals, Ernie Ferguson - vocals/bass guitar, Brenda Ferguson - piano, Austin Baker - lead/acoustic guitar, and Abbi Baker learning to play drums. When you hear Isaiah`s Cry, you`ll hear a blend of Southern Gospel, Bluegrass, & Praise and Worship. All with a soft, southern harmony blend, their sure to capture your hearts. Both Eric & CharLotte Baker, and Ernie & Brenda Ferguson make their home in Means, Kentucky. These two couples have been singing together since mid 90`s. However, they never formed the group, Sunday Drive, until 2007. In 2010, due to a conflict with a country group with a simular name, the group held an on-line contest to come up with a new name which was Isaiah`s Cry. Eric and CharLotte had previously traveled full time with CharLotte`s mother as the Sons Family for seven years. Ernie, who also traveled with The Sons Family as the sound tech and bus driver, wrote and co-wrote (with CharLotte) many of the group`s songs. In 2001 CharLotte wrote her family`s first radio single, "When I Start My Day With You", which was their first Top 80 song. She also co-wrote their first Top 20 charting song, "I`m Just Waiting For My Ride" in 2004. Together, Eric, CharLotte and Ernie have written several songs that have made their way to Southern Gospel`s music charts across America. Isaiah`s Cry strives to show their versatility in the song styles as well as selection. Currently they are promoting their new album, New Day with even more original songs. When it comes to recording, they love to have something new to bring to the table, but also enjoy "reviving" an old classic every once in a while.
