Left to Right Sitting - Darrell Webb (Bass), Wanda Webb (Alto) The Southern-Aires began their journey in 1955 & their personal appearances took them thru eastern states along with several foreign countries. Performing approximately 50 weeks a year. There have been many milestones along the way. Below are a few highlights: 1.The first christian group to have a Southern Gospel concert in Jerusalem, Israel in 1970. 2. Many notable singers & songwriters have stood together under The Southern-Aires banner such as Lee & Charles Feltner(founding members),Chip & Marilyn Bowling(with The Southern-Aires for about 20 yrs). 3.
