They wanted to call themselves "Four men who love the Lord, love each other, love to sing...and love to have fun." But "Looking Above" made for an easier introduction, and it fit better on a business card. Nevertheless, those characteristics fit this group perfectly. They have just finished recording songs for their first CD project...please pray that they can complete all the necessary paperwork and permissions so all those fans out there (both of `em!) can get a copy soon. Originally all members of the same church in NE Mississippi (Tupelo Free Will Baptist Church), James, Tony, Davey, and Jody have been singing together since 2006. They love to sing for the Lord in practically all venues, praying regularly that He will overcome their inadequacies and allow those listening to hear a message of redemption and salvation. "Looking Above" invites requests to sing at your church or at any gathering that glorifies their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. They are willing to travel just about anywhere in NE Mississippi, but also entertain requests to sing of God`s love and mercy in the surrounding regions (MS, TN, and AL).
