The very first time I sang at this church was for their homecoming service over 20 years ago! It was then that we met Brother Roger Spivey of the Greenwood Free Will Baptist Church in Cross Plains TN. He brought the message that day and at the fellowship meal he and his wife sister Wanda invited Mercy Road to be a part of their homecoming in September and we sang at their H/C every year I was with the group even after his passing. Mercy Road has continued to sing at Greenwood almost every year since. Such good memories over the years as I have returned with several different groups and have made many lasting friendships at Madison Free Will! This June will be the 3rd time Anchored has been to the church, twice for their 5th Sunday singing and now for our first homecoming service. We`re really looking forward to being with Pastor John Murray and his congregation again. Thank you sister Ruth Jackson for all the time and effort spent to coordinate these singings, we understand how difficult it sometimes can be and on behalf of all of the groups you work with, we appreciate you! The morning service starts at 9:30, be late if you must, but just be there.
